The company has completed work for a number of government organisations in the public sector as well as completing numerous projects in the private sector. These projects include and range through engineering works at various stages for clients such as Costain, Henry Boot, North Midland Construction, Laing O’Rourke & Lidl. Other works have included groundworks for various renewable energy projects, including numerous photovoltaic power plants.

Versaco is 100% committed to maintaining a safe working environment for our own workers and those under their control, both on and off site. The company has an audited Health and Safety policy in place which complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. All site operatives are in possession of a valid CSCS card. All plant operators hold the relevant CPCS qualification. Site supervisors hold a minimum management based qualification of SSSTS. A training programme is permanently in operation in the form of external health & safety consultants and training consultants, employed by Versaco to ensure standards are met and exceeded on all occasions. This means that performance, attitudes, understanding and general feelings towards Health & safety is always improving.

Versaco holds several Health and Safety accreditations, which are valued greatly and belong to SSIP – Safety schemes in procurement. You will find that we are accredited with the following bodies: CHAS, SafeContractor & Constructionline.

At Versaco we have operated our own Environmental management policy since we were formed and have an active environmental policy in place. The primary function of our system is to recycle, reduce site pollution and reduce waste, both on site and in the office environment.

The industry can and does cause effects upon the environment that we live in, however our vision is to work towards a sustainable environment where we are not damaging where we live, but improving it for the better.

Versaco has worked alongside several consultancy companies on previous projects and will continue to do so to ensure that, wherever practically possible, damage to our environment does not occur and that existing wildlife habitats are not disturbed. Agreements are in place with major and smaller local recycling sites to allow recycling of materials that arise from demolition and wherever construction design allows it, use recycled materials so the lifecycle is completed.
